Drawing from Real Life

This week is drawing from observation!  What does that mean?
It means that you will be looking at objects in REAL LIFE and try to draw them on a piece of paper.
No tracing.  Every student from k-5 can practice this awesome skill.  It teaches us to see what
we are drawing so soon our eyes and our hand is working together to recreate a 2D image.
It also allows us to understand space in real life better.  You will also fail at this…
which allows us to learn and grow!
There are so many great reasons to draw from observation/real life…
LEARN FROM THE SNAKE ARTIST!  https://safeYouTube.net/w/AM5A
This is a great video by an artist from Tazmania… his other videos are AWESOME!

Your job - find 3 objects OR go sit in a room or outside.
IF you are sitting in a room or outdoors… draw what you see around you.
Think about space, line, shape, and how they all work together to create the image you are seeing
in that room or outside in nature.

My video demo is on objects - You will look them over, think about the shapes, and begin to draw them out.  This is my loom video.. Your objects will be different then mine. You can see my examples below. https://www.loom.com/share/ceac3ee557b242458dc7f68ecc1cd06f
